Attorney Gregory M. Hildebrand
Greg Hildebrand is an experienced family lawyer, collaborative practitioner and mediator, who understands the unique complexities and stresses of each client’s divorce. He assists clients in moving beyond the past and looking forward by assessing resources and options and then developing goals and long-term plans. Greg guides clients through often complex financial and child custody and placement matters with a focus on finding a healthy and stable future. Through listening and educating, he helps develop private, creative solutions often without court involvement.
Greg has been a long-time collaborative practitioner who understands that each client’s goals are entwined with finding solutions that work for all family members while preserving a client’s best interests. He understands the benefits of partnering with mental health professionals and financial experts to give clients a full complement of services to meet their specific needs. By simplifying the components of each case, he helps make situations that look overwhelming manageable for clients. In addition to being a lawyer, Greg has a Master’s in Social Work and is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Practitioners and the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin (CFLCW). He is a past Board Chair for CFLCW and was previously the Council’s Training Chair. He continues to train and expand knowledge to other professionals by presenting workshops in numerous statewide, national, and international conferences. Greg is co-founder of Family Mediation Center with Susan Hansen with the focus of providing high-quality solutions and low-conflict divorce services to clients. Greg has consistently been named as a Super Lawyer in Milwaukee Magazine, Best Lawyer, Mediator and Collaborative Practitioner in Best Lawyers in America and Best Law Firms in America. |
