

Sarah C. Whiting represents individuals in all matters affecting the family including divorce, post-judgment matters, child custody and placement issues, paternity, adoption, and guardianship. She is an advocate for the best interests of children when appointed as Guardian ad Litem in family cases in Family Court and Children’s Court. She is also trained in mediation and collaborative law.
Attorney Whiting has assisted Pro Se litigants as a volunteer at the Milwaukee County Family Legal Clinic. She has also mediated legal guardianship and C.H.I.P.S. matters at the Milwaukee County Children’s Court Center.
Prior to attending law school, Attorney Whiting worked as a social worker for Wraparound Milwaukee, a managed care program that serves children with emotional or mental health needs and their families. In this role, she advocated on behalf of children and families at schools, the Milwaukee County Children’s Court Center, and other community settings. She also assisted children and families with accessing legal, mental health, educational, and other services.
