Online Divorce Mediation

Mediation can be a positive and productive alternative to traditional divorce if both parties are willing to work together to resolve family and financial issues. For your convenience, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hansen & Hildebrand family law team provides an online mediation process. Though based in Milwaukee, our lawyer mediators can assist with all family law issues for Wisconsin proceedings.

How Online Mediation Works

While online divorce mediation may seem new to many, Hansen & Hildebrand has been using this service effectively for years for the convenience of our clients. Here's how it works:
  1. Contact us to find a lawyer-mediator to get started. Even during this global pandemic, our phone and virtual services remain uninterrupted. We are here to answer your questions and help you weigh options for next steps, including mediation.
  2. We use Zoom Conferencing for virtual meetings. Our lawyer-mediators will guide you through the set-up process, prepare you for Zoom meetings, and address your legal questions and concerns. All information and required financial data will be shared through a secure shared file system.
  3. Wisconsin courts have adjusted their schedules and protocols, and a Hansen & Hildebrand lawyer mediator will take care of drafting, filing, and processing all legal documents needed for your divorce.
